**Job Title**
System and Cloud Architect (M/F)
**Role Summary**
Provide technical leadership for clients’ digital transformation projects. Define and validate technology road‑maps, design cloud and infrastructure solutions, and guide execution teams on best practices, security, and automation. Drive continuous improvement through community engagement and technical evangelism.
**Expectations**
- Architect and validate new projects from feasibility to implementation.
- Deliver technology road‑maps and architectural governance.
- Mentor engineering teams, ensuring alignment with standards and models.
- Promote industrialization, automation, and continuous delivery.
- Lead risk analysis and contribute mitigation plans.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design and select cloud, container, and infrastructure architectures for Azure, AWS, GCP, and on‑prem virtualization (VMware).
2. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
3. Automate deployments with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and other IaC tools.
4. Conduct risk assessments, update mitigation strategies, and monitor compliance.
5. Facilitate and contribute to technical communities, internal workshops, and external conferences.
6. Perform technical training, knowledge sharing, and support the adoption of emerging technologies.
**Required Skills**
- Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD & DevOps: GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet
- Virtualization: VMware
- Architecture design, architectural frameworks, and standards implementation
- Risk analysis and mitigation planning
- Strong communication, influence, and teaching abilities
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications highly desirable:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) / Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Terraform Associate / Ansible Certified Engineer
Experience in a senior technical architecture role within enterprise IT or consulting environments is required.
