Job Description: **Job Title:** Body Shop Manager – BMW **Role Summary:** Lead and manage the BMW body‑shop team, ensuring timely, high‑quality repairs that meet manufacturer standards and customer expectations. Drive productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction while overseeing scheduling, quality control, and warranty claims. **Expectations:** - Deliver efficient operations within agreed timeframes and financial targets. - Maintain superior quality and safety compliance. - Foster a collaborative, customer‑focused culture. - Mentor and develop junior technicians. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, schedule, and allocate work to the body‑shop team. - Conduct technical oversight of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks. - Ensure accurate documentation of repair orders, invoices, and warranty claims. - Support front‑office activities and resolve customer complaints. - Track and report workshop performance metrics against goals. - Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new technicians. - Implement and enforce safety and procedural protocols. **Required Skills:** - Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management abilities. - Proficiency in BMW vehicle body repair standards and techniques. - Excellent communication, team leadership, and mentoring skills. - Ability to analyze data and manage performance indicators. - Problem‑solving orientation and customer‑service focus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - CAP, BTEC, or equivalent in Automotive Mechanical Engineering (minimum). - 2–3 years of progressive experience in an automotive body‑shop environment. - Familiarity with manufacturer maintenance manuals and warranty processes. ---
