Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Development Engineer **Role Summary:** Drive growth of the agency’s client portfolio by delivering end‑to‑end e‑commerce solutions (strategy, site creation, UX/UI, hosting, PIM). Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing, collaborating closely with technical and creative teams to translate business needs into compelling proposals. **Expactations:** - 5–7 years of experience in a digital/e‑commerce sales environment (B2B focus). - Proven track record in complex B2B negotiations and project proposal development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and prospect new SMEs, mid‑market and retail clients. - Conduct discovery meetings, pre‑sales demos and translate client needs into tailored value propositions. - Lead cross‑selling initiatives within existing accounts (UX, PIM, SEO, hosting). - Negotiate and close contracts while ensuring alignment with internal project teams. - Draft commercial proposals and RFP responses in collaboration with stakeholders. - Monitor sales KPIs (revenue, margin, pipeline, win rates) and report to commercial leadership. - Maintain competitive and technological market intelligence. **Required Skills:** - In‑depth knowledge of e‑commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, PrestaShop). - Strong grasp of UX/UI, SEO/SEA, PIM, cloud hosting and CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce). - Advanced negotiation, communication and stakeholder management. - Ability to simplify technical concepts for non‑technical audiences. - Self‑driven, meticulous and collaborative team player. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s level degree in Business, Digital Marketing, Engineering or equivalent (equivalent to Bac +5). - Additional certifications in ecommerce platforms or sales methodologies are a plus.
