PR & Media Outreach Intern
**Role Summary:**
Support global public relations and media outreach for a hedge‑fund founder and author. Assist in researching, pitching, and securing coverage across top‑tier podcasts, financial news outlets, broadcast networks, and book‑review platforms. Build media lists, track outreach, and develop press assets to elevate the founder’s brand and book launches worldwide.
**Expectations:**
- Demonstrate proactive, self‑directed work ethic and persistence in pursuing high‑profile media opportunities.
- Produce clear, compelling written communications tailored to finance, macro, travel, and storytelling angles.
- Maintain organized outreach trackers and media databases.
- Collaborate with the founder and senior team while adhering to confidentiality and brand guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Research and identify tier‑1 podcasts, TV/radio programs, financial publications, and global news outlets.
- Draft, edit, and personalize media pitches and press releases for diverse audiences.
- Build and maintain comprehensive media lists and outreach cadence schedules.
- Coordinate interview requests, author appearances, and book‑launch events.
- Track responses, manage follow‑ups, and document outcomes in CRM or spreadsheet tools.
- Assist in creating press kits, bios, media decks, and promotional assets.
- (Optional) Support social‑media alignment with influencers and media partners.
**Required Skills:**
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft persuasive story angles.
- Strong research and analytical abilities for media targeting.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills for list management and tracking.

**Required Education & Certifications:**
