Job Description

**Job Title:** ServiceNow Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions to enhance IT service management, automation, and user experience. Ensure platform stability, security, and performance while supporting upgrades and integrations across the organization. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality ServiceNow customizations and integrations on schedule. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues promptly. - Maintain comprehensive documentation and share knowledge with the team. - Mentor junior developers and uphold coding standards through reviews. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure and customize ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements. - Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations and ServiceNow APIs. - Perform ServiceNow platform upgrades and version migrations. - Create and update design specs, deployment guides, testing procedures, and troubleshooting docs. - Evaluate new ServiceNow features, provide analysis, and recommend adoption. - Ensure compliance with non‑functional requirements (security, performance, testability). - Participate in agile ceremonies and provide effort estimates for solutions. - Conduct code reviews and provide technical coaching to junior team members. **Required Skills:** - Advanced JavaScript scripting within ServiceNow. - Strong expertise in ServiceNow API, REST, SOAP, and complex integrations. - Deep knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, Service Portal, Request Management, and upgrade processes. - Experience with mid‑to‑advanced level application development on ServiceNow. - Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Practical experience with agile methodologies and related tools. - Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and cost‑effectiveness. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum 3 years of professional experience designing and developing ServiceNow solutions. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - ITIL certification preferred. - ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Application Developer) preferred.
