Sales Business Developer (IT/Data, AI, Cyber) – Intern/Apprentice
**Role Summary**
Execute B2B sales for a professional training company focused on data, AI, cloud, and cybersecurity. Identify prospects (HR, CTO, CIO, innovation leaders), assess their training and AI needs, craft tailored proposals, and close deals across the full sales cycle, while maintaining a robust pipeline and CRM data.
**Expactations**
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospects in SMB, mid‑market, and enterprise segments.
- Achieve quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Develop custom training and AI POC proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure signed agreements.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in HubSpot and report on KPIs.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prospect and qualify decision‑makers (HR, CTO, CIO, innovation heads).
- Analyze company maturity in data/AI and design personalized training or POC solutions.
- Draft commercial proposals, pricing models, and quotations.
- Participate in sales meetings, demos, and presentations to potential clients.
- Manage end‑to‑end sales cycle: discovery → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Follow up on training/POC projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and renewal potential.
- Collaborate with the sales strategy team on go‑to‑market initiatives.
**Required Skills**
- Structured B2B sales experience (preferably in tech or training).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to assess technical maturity and translate it into business value.
- Proficiency in CRM (HubSpot) and sales analytics.
- Self‑motivated, organized, results‑driven, with a consultative mindset.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and closing complex deals.
- Interest in AI, data, and digital transformation.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current student or recent graduate (Bachelor’s +4/5 years) in commerce, management, marketing, innovation, or a hybrid business‑tech program.
- M1/M2 level acceptable for apprenticeship or internship.
- No mandatory certifications required, but knowledge of AI or data concepts is a plus.
