Data Scientist – AI
**Role Summary**
Lead the AI/ML strategy and development of predictive models to drive business outcomes. Own end‑to‑end model lifecycle: design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain AI/ML solutions, with a focus on large language models and advanced analytics. Mentor junior staff, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and translate technical results for non‑technical stakeholders.

- Present findings to senior leaders, customers, and regulators in clear, concise language.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute the organization’s AI/ML strategy.
- Build, deploy, monitor, and maintain production‑ready predictive models in Python.
- Leverage large language models for NLP and text analytics initiatives.
- Design and implement data pipelines and architectures in collaboration with data engineering.
- Perform advanced data preparation, anomaly detection, and data cleaning.
- Produce and deliver analytical presentations to internal/external audiences.
- Document modeling best practices, assumptions, and alternatives.
- Conduct peer reviews and provide guidance on complex projects.
- Communicate results to regulators when required.
- Mentor and support junior data scientists.
**Required Skills**
- Expert proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and model deployment pipelines.
- Experience with large language models and NLP techniques.
- Strong data engineering collaboration skills (ETL, data lakes, pipelines).
- Advanced data preprocessing, feature engineering, and anomaly detection.
- Ability to translate complex analytics into business‑friendly language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Project prioritization, organization, and peer‑review capabilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications in machine learning, data science, or AI (e.g., Google Cloud ML Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, or equivalent) are preferred.
