The role bridges hardware and software, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient infrastructure that supports R&D, engineering, sales, and operations. **Expectations:** - Deliver end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions that evolve with product and team needs. - Collaborate with electronic design automation (EDA) partners to provide tools and flows to engineers. - Manage tool licenses, versions, and related issues. - Partner with internal teams and cloud vendors to maintain best‑in‑class performance, security, and availability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and maintain compute, storage, and automation systems in a cloud environment. - Develop and automate infrastructure using scripting, configuration management, and IaC tools. - Support secure deployment of new workloads and verify compliance with security and export‑control requirements. - Work with EDA vendors and internal groups to integrate CAD and verification flows into the infrastructure. - Handle tooling and license management, resolving tool‑related problems swiftly. - Identify and recommend infrastructure improvements as the organization scales. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years of cloud‑based infrastructure development experience. - Proficiency in Python scripting; familiarity with Bash and Terraform is preferred. - Strong understanding of compute, storage, networking, and automation concepts. - Experience with security best practices in cloud deployments. - Ability to work cross‑functionally with hardware, software, and external partners. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Preferred: Master’s degree in a related discipline. - No specific certifications required, but knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools is advantageous.
