**Job title:** Intern/Co‑op – Information Technology (Summer 2026)
**Role Summary:**
A summer internship/co‑op for high‑performing college students in Computer Science or Engineering. Participants work side‑by‑side with experienced professionals in one or more IT focus areas—Business Systems Analysis, Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Engineering & Operations, or Software Development—gaining real‑world experience through project participation and cross‑functional collaboration.
**Expactations:**
- Engage in hands‑on projects that deliver business value and technical solutions.
- Learn to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations.
- Develop skills in cloud strategy, security risk assessment, system maintenance, and software development life cycles.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to design reviews, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
- Apply best practices in documentation, testing, and project management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Business Systems Analysis:** Liaise between IT and business units; translate requirements, design system enhancements, manage QA processes, and coordinate incident management.
- **Cloud Engineering:** Support cloud strategy execution—design, plan, integrate, automate, and maintain cloud architecture; evaluate public/private cloud solutions.
- **Cybersecurity:** Perform risk assessments, monitor and enforce cybersecurity policies, identify and remediate threats, conduct compliance audits, and support incident response.
- **Infrastructure Engineering & Operations:** Maintain platform and operational technology systems; conduct performance testing, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and document solutions; support industrial control systems for OT roles.
- **Software Development:** Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise software; participate in code reviews; for QA interns, develop test strategies, automate tests, and report defects in an Agile environment.
**Required Skills:**

- Basic knowledge of IT concepts (software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or infrastructure).
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum academic performance criteria (typically GPA ≥ 3.0, subject to program).
- No mandatory certifications required, but knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or security frameworks (CISSP, CEH) is advantageous.
