Job Description
**Job Title:** ServiceNow Administrator **Role Summary:** Responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform to support business processes, ensuring high availability, performance, and user satisfaction. **Expectations:** - Deliver continuous platform improvements aligned with business objectives. - Maintain system stability, security, and compliance. - Facilitate user adoption through training, documentation, and support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, forms, and applications. - Design, develop, and deploy workflows, business rules, and scripts (JavaScript, Jelly). - Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs. - Perform platform upgrades, patches, and performance tuning. - Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and conduct root‑cause analysis. - Author detailed configuration, process, and user documentation. - Deliver training sessions and support end‑users. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in ServiceNow platform administration and configuration. - Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, REST, SOAP). - Experience designing workflows, business rules, and service catalogs. - Knowledge of API integrations and data mapping. - Ability to troubleshoot performance and security issues. - Excellent documentation and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of IT platform or ServiceNow administration experience. - ServiceNow System Administrator certification (or equivalent). - ITIL Foundation or comparable IT service management certification preferred.
