Job Title Business Development Manager – Data Centre Sector (UK) Role Summary Drive UK data‑centre market growth by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across the national territory. Expectations • 3–5 years of proven business development experience in the data‑centre or infrastructure sector. • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets and grow market share. • Deep understanding of UK data‑centre market dynamics, key players, and regulatory landscape. Key Responsibilities • Prospect and engage high‑value prospects across the UK to build a robust pipeline. • Develop tailored solutions, deliver compelling proposals, and negotiate contracts. • Collaborate with technical, finance, and legal teams to close deals. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy. • Maintain accurate forecast, pipeline, and sales metrics in CRM. • Present regular sales performance reports to senior management. Required Skills • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a consultative selling approach. • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management. • Analytical mindset – ability to interpret market data and adjust strategy. • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and capable of working independently. Required Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Relevant sales or industry certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, ITIL) preferred but not mandatory.
