Job Description: **Job Title:** DevOps Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the migration of legacy VM workloads to Kubernetes, architect and automate AI/ML cloud services, and ensure high performance, scalability, and security for production environments. **Expectations:** - 5+ years of production support in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure or GCP). - Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving skills. - Ability to own and deliver end‑to‑end solutions from design to deployment. - Collaborative communication across engineering, product, and operations teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, execute, and monitor the transition of VM technologies to Kubernetes. - Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code deployments. - Deploy and troubleshoot distributed AI/ML workloads (Spark, TensorFlow, MxNet, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) in the cloud. - Ensure compliance with security standards (Hi‑Trust, SOC2) and enforce operating‑security best practices. - Continuously refine and redeploy environments to keep automation current. - Operate within an Agile development framework and provide clear status updates to stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - Kubernetes container orchestration and related tooling. - Programming/scripting in Python and shell. - Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform/Kubernetes Crossplane. - Linux administration (CentOS/RHEL). - Cloud platform expertise: AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Distributed data processing (Spark, distributed PostgreSQL such as Citus). - AI/ML deployment frameworks (TensorFlow, MxNet, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock). - CI/CD pipeline design and implementation. - Security practices for operations and compliance. - Rapid adaptation to evolving technologies and problem solving. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (CKA/CKS, AWS Cloud Practitioner/DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) preferred.
