Job Title: Corporate Vice President – Salesforce Development Lead
Role Summary
Lead a cross‑functional Salesforce development team within the Service Experience Value Stream, driving strategic initiatives, architectural design, and delivery of end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise standards.
Expectations
- Deliver high‑quality, on‑time software releases while maintaining security, performance, and availability.
- Champion Salesforce best practices, continuous improvement, and modern development methodologies.
- Provide visionary leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across stakeholders, architects, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coach a team of Salesforce developers and engineers.
- Prioritize enhancements and change requests to align with business strategy.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and related Salesforce technologies.
- Architect end‑to‑end platform solutions, ensuring compliance with enterprise reference architecture and security standards.
- Own development outcomes with delivery leads and architects, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, driving automation, risk mitigation, and performance optimization.
- Oversee third‑party and vendor partnerships to support solution delivery.
- Keep the team updated on Salesforce releases, features, and emerging technologies.
- Facilitate a collaborative, high‑performing team culture and promote Agile practices.
Required Skills
- 10–12+ years of Salesforce development and administration experience.
- Deep expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (including LWC), and Flow.
- Strong knowledge of the Salesforce data model, security, sharing rules, and integration via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with Service Cloud, AppExchange products, and complex Salesforce environments.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ReactJS, and the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
- Familiarity with batch Apex, triggers, and programmatic development.
- Ability to architect scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and DevOps practices.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Salesforce certifications: Certified Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I & II (or equivalent).
