Job Description: Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure) Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure solutions. Lead infrastructure-as-code initiatives, automate deployment and monitoring processes, and collaborate closely with application development teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery. Expectations: Deliver reliable, performant, and secure infrastructure that meets business and regulatory requirements. Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response, and continuous improvement of processes and tooling. Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and document architecture decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC. - Write and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent. - Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, logging, and resource provisioning. - Collaborate with software developers to integrate infrastructure changes with application releases. - Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and cost; optimize for scalability and reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure‑related incidents and performance bottlenecks. - Implement security best practices, compliance controls, and hardening procedures. - Participate in on‑call rotation and incident management activities.
