Job Description
Job title: ServiceNow Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow applications across HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and IT Service Management (ITSM) modules, with future expansion into other modules such as Integrated Risk Management and IT Asset Management. Lead integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle EBS) and engineering solutions for performance, security, and compliance. Expectations: Deliver scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions that support corporate and site-level service delivery for a distributed workforce. Maintain high standards of platform performance, security, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate in Agile teams and manage technical stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and refine ServiceNow applications, workflows, and UI customizations for HRSD and ITSM. - Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC, flat files, and Integration Hub spokes to connect ServiceNow with HRIS, ERP, and project management tools. - Configure scoped applications, ACLs, and platform security settings. - Ensure platform performance, reliability, and compliance with internal policies and industry standards. - Participate in Agile development cycles, write sprint estimates, and deliver backlog items. - Troubleshoot complex integration and application issues, applying root‑cause analysis. - Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, documenting requirements, solutions, and best practices. Required Skills: - 2+ years of ServiceNow development experience (server‑side scripting, Flow Designer, UI Policy). - Proven integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and Integration Hub. - Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scoped applications, ACLs, and security. - Agile development experience, preferably leading technical delivery. - Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
