Job Description

Job title: Salesforce Developer Role Summary: Develop, enhance, and maintain Salesforce solutions for a large Blue Cross Blue Shield client, focusing on Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and process automation. Expectations: - Deliver functional Salesforce applications that meet business needs. - Work collaboratively in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and demos. - Maintain high code quality, documentation, and test coverage. - Resolve production issues and provide ongoing support. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and Flow logic. - Build Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages. - Create and manage SOQL/SQL queries. - Implement API integrations (Service, Bulk, REST) with external systems. - Conduct unit and integration testing, ensuring coverage meets Salesforce standards. - Participate in code reviews, grooming, and backlog refinement. - Monitor and optimize system performance and data quality. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Assist with deployment processes (Change Sets, CI/CD pipelines). Required Skills: - Minimum 1 year of Salesforce development experience with AI development exposure **or** 2+ years of Salesforce development experience. - Proficiency in Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Flow, Visualforce, SOQL/SQL. - Experience building Lightning Web Components. - Knowledge of API integration: Service API, Bulk API, REST API. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices. - Strong problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience. - Salesforce Certified Developer – Platform Developer I (recommended).
