Job Title: Europe TIDES Discovery Business Development Head
Job Description: **Job title:** Europe TIDES Discovery Business Development Head **Role Summary:** Lead and grow the Europe discovery business for oligonucleotide and peptide CDMO services. Build and sustain strategic client relationships, develop new revenue opportunities, and deliver integrated discovery solutions from research to early clinical stages. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate proven sales growth and multi‑project management over the past 15+ years in pharma/biotech/CRO. - Deliver quarterly business development plans and exceed revenue targets. - Maintain robust client, partner, and industry networks across Europe and globally. **Key Responsibilities:** - Direct a multi‑national BD team to prospect and secure new discovery accounts (oligonucleotides, peptides). - Manage key accounts, attending conferences, webinars, trade shows, and client meetings. - Partner with marketing to promote services, schedule events, and enhance brand visibility. - Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to shape strategy. - Develop and maintain CRM data, track leads, and document performance metrics. - Collaborate across functions (R&D, sales, project management) to ensure seamless project execution. - Act as BD liaison during crisis management and business continuity planning. - Facilitate partner visits to China, Europe, and other regions as needed. **Required Skills:** - Strong scientific expertise in early‑phase drug discovery (oligonucleotides, peptides). - Experienced in leading large, multicultural teams; senior‑level leadership. - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication. - Self‑starter, highly organized, detail‑oriented, with proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. - Proficient with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). - Strategic thinker with industry‑specific market knowledge and a network of contacts. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or related field (PhD preferred). - Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in a multi‑national environment.
