Job Description
**Job Title:** Cross‑Functional Project Manager (PMO) **Role Summary:** Manages and aligns the enterprise’s strategic project portfolio, ensuring coherence, monitoring progress, and delivering successful outcomes. Facilitates governance processes, prioritizes initiatives, and continuously improves portfolio management practices. **Expectations:** - Minimum 3 years of project management or portfolio/P­MO experience in banking, insurance, or mutual‑fund sectors. - Demonstrated knowledge of PMO principles and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, V‑model). - Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software. - Strong organisational and result‑driven mindset with a collaborative team ethos. - Ability to adapt to change, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders constructively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Track and analyse project progress to feed steering‑committee decisions. - Prepare and actively participate in governance meetings for programmes and projects. - Collect, consolidate, and prioritise annual project roadmaps with business units. - Review project charter and deliverables, advising on launch conditions. - Ensure consistency of schedules, budgets, and resources across projects and anticipate cross‑project impacts. - Maintain accurate, timely reporting and drive continuous improvement of portfolio processes. **Required Skills:** - Project and portfolio management expertise. - Solid grounding in PMO practices and methodologies (Agile, V‑model, etc.). - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools proficiency. - Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and recommendation‑forming abilities. - Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and stakeholder influence. - Team collaboration, adaptability, and forward‑looking vision. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field. - Project management certifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum) are preferred but not mandatory.
