Job Description

Job Title: Head of Artificial Intelligence Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise‑grade AI solutions that support strategy, research, communication, and client delivery for government and institutional clients. Own the AI stack, translate business needs into scalable systems, and grow a high‑impact technical team. Expectations: - Build and scale AI capabilities from concept to production. - Demonstrate commercial acumen by transforming AI expertise into scalable offerings. - Maintain security, auditability, cost control, and reliability across all AI services. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and oversee end‑to‑end applied AI solutions, including LLM orchestration, workflow automation, and data backends. - Translate strategic and research requirements into AI‑enabled systems. - Develop internal AI tools for research, insight, content, and knowledge management. - Define and enforce AI governance standards (security, auditability, cost control, reliability). - Collaborate with senior leadership and client‑facing teams to shape AI‑enabled propositions. - Lead, mentor, and manage a small technical team across multiple delivery workstreams. Required Skills: - 5–7+ years of experience in applied AI, AI platforms, or AI‑enabled systems. - Proven track record of deploying AI solutions in production environments. - Deep knowledge of large language models, APIs, orchestration patterns, and cloud architectures. - Experience leading cross‑functional technical delivery. - Commercial mindset with ability to scale capability into marketable offerings. - Arabic language proficiency is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred). - Relevant AI/ML certifications (e.g., TensorFlow, AWS AI/ML, Azure AI, or equivalent) are advantageous.
