Job Title: ServiceNow Administrator
Role Summary:
Administer, maintain, and optimize the ServiceNow platform. Ensure platform stability, performance, and compliance; execute upgrades, configurational changes, and user management; provide after‑hours support; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement solutions following best practices.
Expectations:
- Own incidents from detection through resolution, maintaining proactive communication.
- Prioritize daily tasks within an agile framework.
- Deliver measurable improvements in quality, productivity, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support to ServiceNow users.
2. Monitor platform health, usage, and compliance; identify and remediate deficiencies.
3. Plan, coordinate, and execute upgrades, maintenance releases, and patching.
4. Maintain and enhance existing solutions—business rules, UI policies, client scripts, ACLs, workflows, dashboards, reports, data imports, catalog items.
5. Deliver after‑hours and on‑call support as needed.
6. Advise teams on design, development, and configuration best practices.
7. Assist with the design and configuration of new ServiceNow solutions.
Required Skills:
- ServiceNow platform administration & configuration (Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Release, Knowledge, Performance Analytics).
- IT Operations Management suite: MID, Discovery, CMDB, Orchestration, Event Management, Service Mapping, Operations Intelligence.
- Scripting & development: JavaScript, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, JSON, PERL, REST, SOAP.
- Strong understanding of ITIL v3 processes and ServiceNow best practices.
- Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently or within a team.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on ServiceNow administration and development experience.
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) and Certified ServiceNow Developer (CSD) – preferred.
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification – preferred.
