Senior Director, Cloud Product and Platform Strategy
**Role Summary**
Lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of AI‑enabled, cloud‑native product portfolio. Bridge product, architecture, AI/ML, and platform engineering to translate concepts into production‑ready services, driving long‑term roadmap, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth.
**Expectations**
- Define multi‑year product roadmap and platform strategy across data, identity, integration, and AI acceleration.
- Integrate emerging technology trends, customer needs, and sustainability goals into product design.
- Deliver prototype, proof‑of‑concept, and technical specifications that enable swift engineering hand‑off.
- Report portfolio health, risk, and ROI to executive stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Strategy & Roadmap** – Develop and evolve AI‑enabled product strategy, identify opportunities, set success metrics, and coordinate cross‑domain roadmaps.
2. **Prototype & Readiness** – Lead end‑to‑end readiness: concept, prototypes, POCs, documentation, and transition to engineering.
3. **Architecture & Standards** – Define architectural standards, produce specifications, diagrams, and deployment plans for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
4. **Cross‑Functional Governance** – Partner with engineering, data science, security, and architecture teams; manage backlog, sprint planning, and prioritization.
5. **Leadership & Portfolio Oversight** – Mentor a team of cloud product owners, establish intake and governance processes, and govern portfolio risk and maturity.
**Required Skills**
- 10+ years in product strategy, cloud platform architecture, or enterprise application development.
- Deep knowledge of cloud‑native patterns, microservices, containers, serverless, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
- Proven experience designing or managing AI/ML products; familiarity with model deployment, inference pipelines, and MLOps.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive‑level presentation skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP AI services (SageMaker, Vertex AI, etc.).
- Familiarity with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse).
- Ability to produce technical docs, architecture diagrams, ADRs; proficiency with tools like Figma, Lucidchart, or Mermaid.
- Leadership in product‑led transformation or cloud modernization initiatives.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management, or related field.
- Relevant cloud and product management/product marketing certifications (e.g., CLDP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional).
