**Job title** Senior Robotics Software Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain core software for real‑time autonomous warehouse robots, ensuring high reliability, precision, and scalability. Integrate AI models, hardware interfaces, and backend services to support production operations. **Expectations** - Lead end‑to‑end software development for robot control, sensing, and runtime systems. - Deliver production‑grade code that scales with increasing robot fleet. - Collaborate with AI, hardware, and infrastructure teams to refine robot intelligence and uptime. - Own quality, performance, and operational excellence across the software stack. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design and implement real‑time control, manipulation, and sensing pipelines for autonomous robots. 2. Build tools for sensor data processing, visualization, validation, and debugging in both development and production. 3. Develop automated evaluation frameworks and remote operation workflows. 4. Integrate new AI models into robot behaviors, validating safety and predictability. 5. Work with hardware engineers on seamless software‑hardware integration for new platforms and upgrades. 6. Test, profile, and optimize systems for robustness, low latency, and operational uptime. **Required Skills** - Strong background in robotics software, embedded/IoT systems, or related fields. - 5+ years of production software engineering experience. - Proficient in Rust (hands‑on development); experience with other systems languages (C/C++, Python) is a plus. - Experience integrating SDKs for robotics, IoT, or embedded devices. - Knowledge of real‑time systems, sensor fusion, and motion planning concepts. - Familiarity with testing, documentation, code reviews, and architectural best practices. - Excellent communication, ownership, and cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field. ---
