**Job title**: Systems Architect
**Role Summary**:
Remote contract (30 months, extendable) providing strategic design, development, and administration of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud environments. The role focuses on end‑to‑end system architecture, custom development, security configuration, and integration of third‑party solutions to meet business needs.
**Expactations**:
- Deliver robust, scalable Salesforce platforms on a 30‑month contract with potential extension.
- Maintain high quality, maintainable code and configurations.
- Work independently and collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, build, and deploy custom Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and workflow rules.
- Architect and implement automation solutions using Process Builder and Flow.
- Configure and manage user profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing models for data security.
- Create, optimize, and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate AppExchange third‑party solutions.
- Apply Salesforce data management best practices: data loading, cleansing, de‑duplication, and governance.
- Keep solutions aligned with Salesforce release cycles and new features.
- Develop custom code in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Write efficient SOQL and SOSL queries for data retrieval.
**Required Skills**:
- 84 months Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud configuration & administration.
- 60 months designing, building, and deploying custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflow rules.
- 60 months hands‑on use of Process Builder and Flow.
- 60 months security configuration (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing).
- 60 months reporting & dashboard development.
- 60 months AppExchange evaluation and integration.
- 60 months data management (loading, cleansing, de‑duplication).
- 60 months understanding Salesforce release cycles.
- 60 months custom development (Apex, Visualforce, LWC).
- 60 months proficiency in SOQL & SOSL.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Salesforce Administrator / Advanced Administrator certification (preferred).
- Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I & II, or equivalent architecture certifications (preferred).
- Current U.S. residency with work authorization; must be direct hire.
