Job Description
**Job Title** Automation Engineer (Male/Female) **Role Summary** Design and define the overall architecture of automation projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications. Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs), conduct system validation in the workshop and at client sites, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and user manuals. **Expectations** - Work autonomously while collaborating with cross‑functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, from design to client installation. - Apply a solid base of mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic knowledge to support system integration and troubleshooting. - Demonstrate passion for automation, creativity, and a willingness to tackle technical challenges in an agile environment. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Define and design the general architecture of automation projects in accordance with client requirements. 2. Actively participate in design reviews and progress monitoring sessions. 3. Program PLCs (Siemens, B&R) and associated supervisory systems. 4. Perform equipment tuning and validation in the workshop and on client sites (France and internationally). 5. Update and maintain technical dossiers and produce user documentation. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, B&R) and supervisory control. - Familiarity with mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic systems. - Project management capabilities and ability to work independently. - Strong communication and documentation skills. - Agile mindset and adaptability to changing project demands. **Required Education & Certifications** - Degree in Automation, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, B&R Soft PLC) preferred. ---
