Job Description
Job Title: Salesforce Developer Role Summary: Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce custom solutions (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce) to support transformation projects in a collaborative, agile environment. Expectations: Must be eligible for SC clearance, resident in the UK for ≥5 years, and possess right to work in the UK. Will work remotely or on client sites as required. Key Responsibilities - Design, code, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement scalable solutions. - Collaborate with architects and senior developers on solution design, integration, and data modeling. - Contribute to Salesforce DX-based CI/CD pipelines, version control, and development best practices. - Build and manage integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools (e.g., Mulesoft). - Produce technical documentation and support knowledge sharing within teams. - Participate in agile ceremonies, provide status updates, and estimate effort. - Support testing, UAT, and deployment across multiple environments. Required Skills - Proven Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Salesforce DX). - Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data model, and platform architecture. - Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools. - Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and DevOps processes in Salesforce. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaborative skills. - Exposure to agile delivery methodologies. - Ability to learn new languages/frameworks (JavaScript, Java, Python, .NET) as needed. Required Education & Certifications - Salesforce Platform Developer I (mandatory). - Salesforce Platform Developer II (desirable). - Other Salesforce credentials (App Builder, Integration Architecture) desirable. - Degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline (desirable).
