Job Description
**Job Title:** Lease Administrator (12‑Month Contract) **Role Summary:** Provide comprehensive lease administration support for a portfolio of commercial properties, including lease data entry, document preparation, and coordination with internal stakeholders and tenants to ensure accurate, timely lease record maintenance. **Expactations:** • Execute lease administration tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. • Maintain high accuracy and compliance with lease data standards. • Demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving, and independent project management skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Summarize and enter lease details into Yardi property‑management system. - Draft lease amendments, estoppel certificates, surrender agreements, and related documents. - Review and summarize lease documentation for acquisition due diligence. - Liaise regularly with Property Managers, Accounting, Revenue Control, tenants, and tenant legal counsel. - Coordinate deadline‑driven tasks and provide project updates to the Lease Administration Manager. - Perform additional projects or duties as assigned. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi (preferred). - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum of a college diploma or certificate in Business Administration or related field. - At least 2 years of experience with lease or legal documentation. - No specific professional certifications required, but knowledge of lease administration practices is an asset.
