**Job title** Mercedes Benz Renewals Specialist **Role Summary** The Renewals Specialist performs outbound telephone outreach to existing Mercedes Benz customers to promote new finance programs, encourage showroom appointments, and secure finance applications. The role focuses on customer retention, conversion, and compliance with fair‑treatment and regulatory standards. **Expectations** - Achieve monthly sales and appointment targets set by the dealership. - Maximize retention and conversion rates through targeted customer engagement. - Maintain accurate, auditable records for regulatory compliance and brand standards. - Deliver excellent customer service and uphold the “Treating Customers Fairly” policy. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct outbound calls to existing customer database (no cold calling). - Explain features, benefits, and eligibility of Mercedes Benz finance options. - Schedule and coordinate customer appointments with sales executives. - Capture finance applications, assess credit eligibility, and submit applications to finance partners. - Track and report on calls, appointments, applications, and conversion metrics. - Perform post‑visit follow‑up calls to confirm outcomes and next steps. - Ensure all customer interactions are documented in an audit‑ready manner. - Collaborate with sales and finance teams to close appointments and finance deals. **Required Skills** - Proven telephone sales experience with a history of meeting or exceeding targets. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build rapport quickly. - Ability to explain complex products (finance options) in a clear, persuasive manner. - Self‑motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently and within a team. - Familiarity with CRM and call‑tracking systems; quick to learn new software. - Knowledge of automotive finance principles is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of a high‑school diploma or equivalent. - Relevant experience in tele‑sales, automotive sales, or finance product promotion preferred. - Any automotive sales or finance certification (e.g., FSA, NAF, CFA) is an advantage but not mandatory. ---
