Senior Security Engineer
Role Summary: Senior Security Engineer responsible for protecting financial data and infrastructure through application security, cloud security, compliance, and incident response. Collaborates across engineering, product, and compliance teams.
Expactations:
5–8+ years in software/data engineering or cybersecurity, with 5+ years in cloud/security roles. Advanced scripting (Python, Bash, TypeScript). Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), zero-trust architecture, DevSecOps, and regulatory compliance (SOC 2, GDPR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor/triage security issues, fix vulnerabilities in web/mobile applications
- Design secure cloud infrastructure, configure IAM policies, encryption, and network security
- Conduct code reviews, penetration testing, and threat modeling
- Manage secrets (Vault), secure containers (Docker/K8s), and implement zero-trust
- Set up SIEM tools (Splunk/Datadog), lead incident response, and support audits
- Educate teams on phishing, secure coding, and endpoint security policies
Required Skills:
- Advanced Python, TypeScript, Bash scripting
- Cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and orchestration (K8s/Docker/Istio)
- Zero-trust, secrets management, and DevSecOps
- SIEM tools, IAM (SSO/MFA/RBAC), encryption/access control
- App/security testing (Snyk/Checkmarx, OWASP Top 10)

Required Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certifications (AWS Security, Azure) preferred.
