**Job Title:** Cloud Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions using AWS and Azure. Requires expertise in cloud migration, systems administration, networking, automation scripting, and enterprise IT infrastructure management.
**Expectations**
2-3 years in cloud engineering/infrastructure support; 3+ years in cloud architecture/deployment (AWS/Azure), enterprise IT infrastructure management, systems administration, and scripting/automation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, deploy, and support hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Execute on-premises-to-cloud migrations and manage enterprise platforms (Windows Server, Linux, databases: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Aurora).
- Configure LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, routers, and security controls.
- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for provisioning and system management.
- Integrate third-party systems, optimize capacity planning, and design disaster recovery plans.
- Apply ITIL and DevOps methodologies to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure compliance.
- Troubleshoot system issues, monitor performance, and maintain compliance with security protocols (Active Directory integration, cybersecurity best practices).
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders on infrastructure requirements.
**Required Skills**
- Cloud platforms: AWS and Azure infrastructure/services.
- Enterprise systems: Windows Server, Linux, JBOSS, Tomcat, load balancers, storage solutions.
- Networking: Firewall configurations, routing, ACLs, DNS.
- Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
- ITIL/DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC compliance.
- Troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and cross-functional communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, and enterprise IT infrastructure management (AWS/Azure certifications preferred but not mandatory).
- Demonstrated expertise in IT security, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
