**Job Title**
System and Network Engineer (m/f)
**Role Summary**
Design, deploy, and administer systems and network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for an enterprise environment.
**Expectations**

- Strong relational and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect, implement, and manage Windows Server, Windows 11, and Debian systems.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, routing, and VPNs.
- Apply security measures: MFA, RMM, MDM, web filtering, and Active Directory hardening.
- Monitor system availability and performance; coordinate with teams and vendors.
- Manage backups and disaster recovery plans using Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Update and secure systems and applications; perform routine patching.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation (configurations, procedures, troubleshooting).
- Participate in R&D initiatives to enhance infrastructure resilience and efficiency.
- Manage virtual environments (Microsoft Hyper‑V, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Support services: Active Directory, MySQL, RDS, print, file sharing, Office 365.
- Implement DevOps practices with Docker, Grafana, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD.
**Required Skills**
- Network and system administration (Windows Server, Linux/Unix).
- Router/switch/firewall configuration (Cisco/Juniper).
- Security fundamentals (MFA, RMM, MDM, web filtering, AD hardening).
- Virtualization: Hyper‑V, Docker.
- Backup and DR: Veeam Backup & Replication.
- DevOps tools: Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Grafana.
- Cloud: Microsoft Office 365.
- Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash).
- Documentation and knowledge‑base creation.
- Problem‑solving and performance tuning.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Diploma from an accredited engineering school (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer/Information Engineering).
- Minimum 3–5 years of post‑graduation experience in system and network engineering.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CCNA/CCNP, Veeam Certified Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) preferred but not mandatory.
