Job Description

Software Developer Intern Role Summary: Develop and maintain software systems for a proprietary trading firm's electronic options trading platform using .NET/C#. Collaborate with senior developers to design, test, and refine high-throughput, low-latency components in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Expectations: - Gain hands-on experience in real-time trading system development. - Learn domain-specific knowledge of market-making and liquidity provision. - Work on scalable, service-oriented infrastructure supporting trade execution, market data, and UI systems. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and debug software components for trading systems (C#/.NET). - Collaborate with developers and traders to identify and resolve technical challenges. - Participate in agile development cycles and code reviews. - Optimize algorithms for throughput and latency in parallel processing systems. Required Skills: - Proficiency in C# or a C-style object-oriented language (Java, C++). - Strong software development fundamentals (data structures, algorithms). - Problem-solving ability in complex, high-performance system contexts. - Effective communication and collaboration across teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Pursuing or completed BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or technical field. - No certifications required. Prior .NET/C# experience preferred but not mandatory.
