Chief Operating Officer Role Summary: Lead operational strategy and execution in a fast-growing professional services firm, ensuring seamless operations and client-centric service delivery while driving growth and transformation. Expactations: Drive operational excellence, align cross-functional teams, and lead strategic initiatives to enable scalable business growth. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execute and scale organizational strategy through process optimization and operational transformation projects. 2. Oversee core operations including compliance, contracts, governance, vendor management, and system integration. 3. Direct HR compliance, Learning & Development programs, and succession planning to support internal growth. 4. Optimize client onboarding and service delivery for consistency, automation, and client satisfaction. 5. Manage risk frameworks (ISMS/ISO 27001), continuity planning, and risk registers. 6. Lead software/automation projects in AI and compliance technologies. 7. Foster team alignment, inspire operational culture, and represent leadership as needed. 8. Support service expansion, international market entry, and resource planning. Required Skills: - Proven leadership in service-sector transformation (professional services, compliance, or tech-enabled firms). - Expertise in ISO 27001 frameworks and compliance standards. - Experience managing software project scoping, development, and delivery. - Demonstrated ability to design/revamp operational processes and execute complex projects. - Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills. - Proficiency in driving cultural change and team motivation. - Strategic thinking to align operations with business scaling goals. Required Education & Certifications: - Relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent experience. - Experience within ISO 27001 security management frameworks.
