**Role Summary**
Owns and prioritizes the technology product backlog to deliver business‑aligned, data‑driven outcomes. Works cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and stakeholders to define features, ensure quality releases, and continuously improve product performance while adhering to compliance standards.

- Lead end‑to‑end product ownership for technical initiatives.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain the backlog, prioritize items, and align releases with the roadmap.
- Drive communication with leadership, business users, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with PCI, CCPA, and SOX throughout product development.
- Coordinate testing, documentation, and rollout activities for high‑quality releases.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Translate strategic objectives into clear, implementable product backlog items.
- Own backlog management: refine, prioritize, and groom stories with engineering teams.
- Collaborate on sprint and release planning; ensure stories meet acceptance criteria via active review of test results.
- Partner with delivery teams to schedule timely, quality releases; manage testing, documentation, and rollout of new features.
- Monitor product health, performance, and usage metrics; identify and prioritize bugs and incidents.
- Gather, synthesize, and document business requirements from multiple stakeholder groups.
- Align technical decisions with business goals and regulatory compliance (PCI, CCPA, SOX).
- Coordinate vendor and consultant engagements; manage professional services delivery.
- Leverage data and user feedback for incremental, measurable product improvements.
- Contribute to retrospectives to enhance team processes and velocity.
- Stay current on Agile, DevOps, and product management tooling trends.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years in technology operations or product ownership roles.
- 5+ years creating clear, structured technical and business documentation.
- 2+ years working with formal compliance frameworks (PCI, CCPA, SOX).
- 1+ year hands‑on Agile/Scrum experience.
- 1+ year vendor or consulting coordination experience.
- Strong requirement gathering, business modeling, and non‑functional requirement definition.
- Familiarity with networking, storage, compute technologies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent product management certification preferred.
