Job Description
**Job Title** Financial Analyst **Role Summary** Provides analytical support to business and manufacturing operations by developing financial models, conducting data analysis, and preparing reports. Manages financial recordkeeping, month‑end close activities, and supports forecasting, budgeting, and KPI dashboard creation. Interfaces with cross‑functional teams and ensures data integrity in ERP systems. **Expectations** Deliver accurate, timely financial insights and reports that inform strategic decisions. Maintain high data quality and adhere to company accounting standards. Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare and present recurring and ad‑hoc reports, queries, BI insights, and analysis to support strategic decision‑making. - Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for KPIs and financial performance. - Support financial forecasting and target‑setting by updating models with latest results and projections. - Manage part‑level standard costs, earned hours, bills of material, and production routings in ERP. - Monitor work order and inventory records; participate in physical inventory cycles. - Create and post journal entries with supporting documentation; assist in month‑end close. - Aid in the annual business plan preparation, focusing on detailed assumptions for reporting and analysis. - Apply continuous improvement principles to processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Collaborate with division leadership, operations, sales, purchasing, shipping/receiving, and IT. **Required Skills** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent; or 4+ years of progressive manufacturing accounting experience. - Proficiency with Infor ERP (Visual/Syteline). - SQL Server, Power Query, Power BI, and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, VBA). - Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, judgment, and problem‑analysis techniques. - Data mining, analysis, and reporting experience. - Effective interpersonal and communication skills across functions. - Ability to resolve complex systems issues quickly with limited guidance. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; or equivalent experience. - No specific certifications required, but CPA or CMA preferred.
