Job Description
Job title: ServiceNow SecOps (VR) Developer Role Summary: Build, customize, and optimize the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) platform, including the Container VR module, to support security operations environments. Expactations: ‑ 100% remote, full‑time engagement. ‑ Must be a U.S. citizen. ‑ Deliver high‑quality VR solutions within defined timelines. ‑ Collaborate with security teams to integrate VR functionality and maintain system performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow VR functionalities and extensions. - Customize and configure the Container VR module for container security workflows. - Integrate VR with other ServiceNow applications (e.g., ITSM, CMDB). - Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing of VR features. - Provide ongoing maintenance, performance tuning, and bug resolution. - Work with security operations personnel to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and governance standards. Required Skills: - Strong ServiceNow development skills (JavaScript, Jelly, Flow Designer, Service Portal, UI Policy, Script Includes, Business Rules). - Proven experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and Container VR. - Familiarity with security operations practices and vulnerability management. - Ability to write clean, maintainable code and perform comprehensive testing. - Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - ServiceNow SecOps Certified – CIS Vulnerability Response (CIS – Vulnerability Response) ---
