Job Description

Job Title: Salesforce DevOps Engineer (Senior) Role Summary: Senior engineering role focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications, ensuring automated, reliable, and low‑risk releases across multiple teams. Works closely with architecture, QA, delivery, and release management to standardize processes and embed security and compliance. Expectations: Deliver end‑to‑end automation for build, test, and deployment; enforce quality gates; ensure predictable, reversible releases; manage sandbox and staging environments; provide coaching and best‑practice guidance; continuously improve environment stability and deployment speed. Key Responsibilities: - Design and own CI/CD pipelines for all Salesforce teams. - Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across environments. - Enforce quality gates including unit tests, code checks, and validation rules. - Ensure deployments are predictable, reversible, and compliant with security standards. - Support release operations and production deployments with zero‑downtime. - Maintain and orchestrate sandboxes, test orgs, and staging spaces. - Integrate QA automation into pipelines where applicable. - Standardize and document DevOps practices across multiple teams. - Mentor and coach cross‑functional teams on DevOps best practices and tool usage. Required Skills: - 10+ years of IT experience with substantial Salesforce DevOps background. - Deep experience with CI/CD and Git workflows for Salesforce DX. - Proven ability to build and maintain automated release pipelines. - Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. - Familiarity with standard DevOps tools (e.g., Flosum, Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT) is a plus. - Knowledge of Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, FSC) and Salesforce DX/CLI is preferred. - Experience in scaled agile environments and QA automation integration. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred (not explicitly required). - Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer, DevOps Engineer, Technical Architect) are advantageous but not mandatory.
