Job Title: ServiceNow Senior Developer
Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise ServiceNow solutions, ensuring architectural excellence, platform stability, and performance while mentoring junior team members.
Expectations: Own end‑to‑end ServiceNow architecture, deliver scalable and secure applications, collaborate with stakeholders, maintain high code quality, and stay current with platform releases and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow applications and integrations (ITSM, ITOM, Service Mapping, CMDB, WSD, EC Pro, EA, PPM, Agile 2.0).
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and platform configurations.
- Build and maintain workflows, flow designer, business rules, client/server scripts, UI policies, portals, and workspaces.
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, performance, and security; conduct monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Perform code reviews, quality assurance, unit and integration testing.
- Document architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing.
- Advocate architectural standards, governance, and best practices.
- Engage with project managers, business analysts, and Agile teams to deliver on schedule.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development and architecture experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (client/server), REST/SOAP APIs, HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, Service Mapping, CMDB, WSD, EC Pro, EA, PPM, and Agile 2.0.
- Experience designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Leadership experience guiding technical teams and advising stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
