**Job Title**
Senior IT PMO (Transversal)
**Role Summary**
Senior PMO responsible for the governance, oversight, and reliability of a multi‑domain IT project portfolio within a large, structured IT department. Provides rigor, visibility, and proactive risk management across data, infrastructure/cloud, cybersecurity, and business‑application projects, supporting senior leadership in prioritization and decision‑making.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a transversal/portfolio PMO.
- Proven track record in a structured, large‑scale IT organization (e.g., banking, industry, energy, critical services).
- Ability to operate under pressure, communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, and drive solution‑oriented outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build, maintain, and communicate the overall vision of the IT project portfolio.
- Track milestones, schedules, resource loads, budgets, risks, and inter‑project dependencies.
- Consolidate data from heterogeneous projects (data, infrastructure/cloud, cyber, applications).
- Support prioritization and arbitration decisions with the IT leadership team.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve the project governance framework and methodological standards (reporting, KPIs, committee structures, follow‑up processes).
- Produce concise, reliable management reports for IT leadership, business units, and executive committees.
- Prepare and facilitate portfolio governance meetings (COPROJ, COPIL, cross‑functional committees).
- Proactively identify project risks, monitor corrective action plans, and flag critical inter‑project dependencies.
- Challenge project managers and domain leads constructively to ensure disciplined execution.
**Required Skills**
- Strong portfolio management expertise in IT environments.
- Broad IT knowledge across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity (principles and business impact).
- Mastery of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and other project management methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational and structuring capabilities.
- High level of rigor, reliability, and ownership.
- Natural authority and credible posture with senior audiences.
- Excellent written and oral communication; ability to simplify complex situations.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure; solution‑focused and anticipatory mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and/or SAFe Agilist certification strongly preferred.
