Job title: Senior Programme Lead Role Summary: Lead delivery of a large, multi‑year programme within Change & Transformation, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality outcomes aligned with strategic objectives. Expectations: Deliver programme objectives, maintain governance and stakeholder engagement, mitigate risks, drive continuous improvement, and champion change. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain programme governance structure, steering committees, and progress reporting. - Translate strategic business plans into actionable programme roadmaps. - Oversee cross‑functional teams, ensuring integration of platform, technical, and data components. - Manage programme budget, schedule, and resource allocation. - Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks and issues. - Chair governance meetings, including C‑suite briefings. - Drive scheme design integration into operational platforms, where applicable. - Foster stakeholder engagement, communicating progress and outcomes clearly. - Champion best practices in programme and project management methodologies. Required Skills: - Proven experience managing large, complex strategic programmes. - Strong knowledge of programme/project management frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Agile). - Expertise in platform delivery, technical integration, and data complexity. - Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills. - Ability to lead governance meetings and influence C‑suite decisions. - Analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑management capabilities. - Empathy, integrity, and customer‑centric mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related field. - Professional certification in programme or project management (e.g., PgMP, PMI‑Pg, PRINCE2 Advanced, or equivalent). - Pensions industry knowledge is advantageous.
