Job Description

Job Title: Full Stack Java Software Engineer Role Summary Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end Java applications using Spring framework. Build and expose RESTful APIs; implement front‑end components with TypeScript and Node.js. Ensure high performance, scalability, and security across cloud‑native environments. Expectations - Deliver clean, well‑tested code within sprint cycles. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, DevOps, QA). - Maintain technical excellence and stay current with emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities - Develop server‑side components in Java/Spring. - Create secure, efficient RESTful APIs. - Write and maintain front‑end logic in TypeScript/Node.js. - Design and manage relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases. - Containerise applications with Docker; orchestrate with Kubernetes. - Implement IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation. - Integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, build, and deployment. - Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimisation. - Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing. Required Skills - Strong Java (Spring, JPA/Hibernate) experience. - Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web frameworks. - RESTful API design and development. - SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) database skills. - Containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. - CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). - Version control (Git). - Agile methodologies. - Good problem‑solving and debugging skills. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Java SE, AWS Certified Developer, Kubernetes Administrator) preferred but not mandatory.
