Job Description: Job Title: Data Analyst Role Summary: Analyze and manage financial reporting data for intellectual property development. Own dataflows, create visualizations, and define key metrics to support data-driven decisions across product, finance, and project management teams. Expectations: - Deliver actionable insights from complex datasets. - Collaborate with PMO, R&D, and finance to translate findings into business decisions. - Maintain high accuracy and continual process improvement. - Communicate results clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and document sources of financial reporting data relevant to IP projects. - Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for key performance indicators. - Perform advanced data analysis in Excel (PivotTables, formulas, macros). - Interpret analysis results and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders. - Support project teams with data related to value assessment and performance tracking. - Participate in ongoing refinement of data processes and tools. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas). - Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. - Familiarity with project lifecycle and PMI framework. - Basic understanding of financial metrics for project valuation. - Experience in supplemental tools (Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Jira) is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent (engineering, mathematics, statistics, finance). - Minimum of 3 years relevant data analysis experience. - PMI project management knowledge or related certification (desirable).
