Job title: Technical Architect, Salesforce
Role Summary
Design, lead, and architect end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Clouds. Serve as the technical steward for Salesforce architecture, integration, and delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and enterprise architecture. Mentor developers and admins, maintain code quality, and drive continuous improvement of Salesforce capabilities.
Expectations
* Deliver moderately to highly complex Salesforce projects with minimal oversight.
* Maintain expertise in Salesforce releases, best practices, and platform limits.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with stakeholders, developers, and business users to translate needs into technical design.
* Guide and enforce coding standards, CI/CD practices, and deployment strategies.
* Provide proactive technical guidance and mentorship to the Salesforce team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architect and build scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds.
2. Lead technical delivery of projects: integration, data migrations, custom development.
3. Serve as Salesforce technical expert on capabilities, limitations, and optimization.
4. Define and enforce coding standards, development processes, and deployment pipelines.
5. Mentor and coach developers and administrators.
6. Gather and translate technical and business requirements with stakeholders.
7. Align Salesforce architecture with overall enterprise architecture.
8. Design and implement integrations via REST/SOAP, middleware, ETL, and APIs.
9. Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and other customizations.
10. Monitor releases, assess impacts, and recommend improvements.
Required Skills
* 10+ years of hands‑on Salesforce platform experience.
* 5+ years in a Salesforce Technical Architect or equivalent leadership role.
* Proficiency with Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
* Deep knowledge of data model, security, sharing rules, and governor limits.
* Experience designing and implementing integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware, ETL).
* DevOps expertise: CI/CD, Git, Copado, Gearset, or similar tools.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
* Stakeholder management and team mentoring capabilities.
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education/experience (12 years).
* Salesforce Architect certifications (Application Architect, System Architect).
* Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) strongly preferred.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, MuleSoft, Heroku, or other Salesforce ecosystem products is a plus.
