**Job Title**
Software Developer III – Salesforce
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, test, and deploy complex Salesforce solutions across multiple business units, serving as a subject‑matter expert and leading medium‑scale projects while mentoring junior developers.
**Expectations**
* Deliver high‑quality, scalable Salesforce code with minimal oversight.
* Actively participate in all SDLC phases, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational priorities.
* Provide actionable insights to optimize system performance, security, and user experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Lead architecture, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and ETL tools.
• Perform code and configuration audits, recommending improvements to accuracy, performance, and governance.
• Create detailed technical documentation and user guides for complex components.
• Mentor and coach junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate software installation, deployment, and ongoing support across moderately to highly complex systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to unify development practices and resolve business and technical issues.
**Required Skills**
• 8–10 years Salesforce development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and security model.
• Proven experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
• Strong integration background (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools).
• Familiarity with Git‑based version control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
**Required Education & Certifications**
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience (minimum 12 years of post‑high‑school education and experience).
• Relevant Salesforce development certifications preferred (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) – not mandatory but advantageous.
