Job Description: **Job Title:** Customer Support Engineer Intern – Renewable Energy **Role Summary:** Support the Customer Support team by enhancing commissioning processes, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and delivering first‑level technical assistance to solar and storage system clients. Focus on increasing customer self‑sufficiency and improving internal workflows. **Expectations:** - Work independently and proactively identify improvement opportunities. - Communicate clearly in both French and English. - Collaborate effectively with technical and product teams. - Demonstrate analytical thinking and a customer‑centric mindset. **Key Responsibilities:** - Optimize internal commissioning procedures to improve quality and speed. - Draft, update, and organize technical manuals, guides, and FAQs for clients and internal use. - Respond to client tickets, provide first‑line troubleshooting, and track issue resolution. - Liaise with engineering teams to understand configuration requirements and relay client feedback. - Analyze customer feedback to propose continuous‑improvement actions. - Diagnose and resolve Modbus (RTU/TCP) communication and configuration issues with third‑party devices. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of solar PV and energy storage system concepts. - Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, especially Modbus. - Basic understanding of SCADA, EMS, or similar control platforms (preferred). - Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Fluent written and spoken French and English. - Self‑motivated, autonomous, and eager to suggest process enhancements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Recent graduate (B.Sc./M.Sc.) from an engineering program in Renewable Energy, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field. - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or projects in solar/energy storage is a plus.
