Job Title: Account Executive – SMBs
Role Summary:
Lead outbound sales of API‑driven shipping and fulfillment solutions to small‑to‑mid‑market eCommerce, retail, and logistics businesses across Europe. Drive new business acquisition, engage prospects through consultative selling, and close deals from discovery to contract.
Expectations:
- Achieve quarterly revenue and new‑customer quota.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline in CRM.
- Collaborate with SDR, onboarding, product, CSM, and marketing teams.
- Deliver product demos, technical discussions, and negotiate contracts to meet revenue and margin targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and partner channels.
2. Conduct needs assessments, product demos, and technical discussions focused on API integrations and workflow automation.
3. Develop and execute territory and account plans targeting eCommerce, retail, and third‑party logistics sectors.
4. Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline metrics, and deal status updates in CRM.
5. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals while achieving revenue and margin goals.
6. Stay current on eCommerce, shipping technology, carrier APIs, and integration trends.
7. Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, partnerships, SDR, onboarding, product, and customer success to ensure a seamless handoff from sales to service.
Required Skills:
- 3–6 years of B2B SaaS or technology solutions sales experience.
- Proven track record of hunting and closing midsize or enterprise accounts.
- Comfortable discussing API integrations, workflows, and developer use cases (technical fluency, not coding required).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
- Solution‑oriented selling mindset.
- Self‑starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently across regions and time zones.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications in sales methodology or SaaS products are a plus.
