Job Description

Job Title: Data Scientist Role Summary Data Scientist responsible for analyzing complex clinical and operational datasets, developing predictive models, and designing data-driven metrics to optimize healthcare processes and performance. Expectations * Deliver end‑to‑end data science solutions: problem definition, algorithm selection, model design, implementation, and evaluation. * Generate actionable insights that drive clinical decision‑making, operational efficiency, and quality improvement. Key Responsibilities * Analyze high‑dimensional data to identify dependencies, patterns, outliers, and data quality issues. * Design, build, and validate predictive models and advanced algorithms to extract value from data. * Develop dashboards and reports (e.g., Tableau) to communicate findings to stakeholders. * Formulate and test hypotheses; interpret results and recommend evidence‑based actions. * Contribute to the creation and evaluation of performance metrics (e.g., provider efficiency, bottleneck analysis, error rates). * Collaborate cross‑functionally with clinical, operational, and IT teams to align data science initiatives with organizational goals. Required Skills * Proficient in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation. * Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and database administration. * Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning techniques, and numerical optimization algorithms. * Experience creating interactive dashboards with Tableau or similar tools. * Familiarity with large‑scale data infrastructure and data engineering principles. Required Education & Certifications * Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., statistics, computer science, data science, applied mathematics) required or Master’s degree preferred. * Equivalent experience in data‑science roles with large datasets (2–3 years preferred). ---
