Vice President, Application Development
**Role Summary**
Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI‑powered applications. Drive technical strategy, innovation, and cross‑functional alignment to deliver high‑performance solutions in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Architect and oversee development of scalable, robust applications using in‑house AI models and third‑party LLM/NLP technologies.
- Define and execute AI strategy across the organization.
- Champion cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), GitOps, event‑driven architecture, data lakes, and data pipelines.
- Ensure robust identity resolution, data classification, and security.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and operations to align on goals and deliverables.
- Drive organizational change and transform technical workstreams.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, meeting milestones swiftly in an agile environment.
**Required Skills**
- 10+ years of software development experience, 5+ in technical leadership.
- Proven track record building and scaling high‑performance applications.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, NLP, event‑driven architectures.
- Hands‑on cloud expertise (AWS, GCP) and DevOps skills (GitOps, CI/CD).
- Deep understanding of data lakes, pipelines, and data security.
- Experience with user/entity identity resolution and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people‑management skills.
- Ability to set vision, motivate teams, and drive cross‑functional change.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
