Job Description
**Job Title** Remote Sales Representative – Business Development (Financial Services) **Role Summary** A commission‑based, 1099 contractor responsible for selling financial products (indexed universal life, annuities, life insurance) to pre‑qualified leads. Works remotely, setting own schedule while meeting sales targets and maintaining compliance with record‑keeping requirements. **Expectations** - Unlimited earning potential ($100K‑$250K+ annually) primarily through commissions. - No prospecting or cold calling; receive fully vetted, warm leads. - Work is solely remote; no travel or mandatory meetings required. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and nurture client relationships through consultative engagement. - Conduct virtual consultations, delivering presentations that illustrate product value. - Assess client needs and customize financial plans (IUL, annuities, life insurance). - Close sales confidently, meeting or exceeding set targets. - Track interactions, update CRM, and maintain compliant client records. **Required Skills** - Strong verbal communication and presentation skills. - Self‑motivated, disciplined, and goal‑oriented. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Organized with excellent time‑management and documentation abilities. - Passion for financial literacy and helping clients secure their futures. **Required Education & Certifications** - High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred). - Minimum 1–2 years of outbound sales experience (preferred). - Knowledge of life insurance, annuities, or indexed universal life is advantageous. - 1099 contractor status; valid state insurance license not required but may be preferred.
