Job title: Director, Enterprise Architecture
Role Summary: Lead the creation, evolution, and governance of the enterprise-wide technology blueprint and multi‑year roadmap, ensuring technology investments align with strategic business objectives. Drive modernization of core platforms (Salesforce, Oracle, cloud) and oversee a team of enterprise architects to deliver cohesive, scalable, and future‑ready solutions.
Expectations:
- Deliver a coherent enterprise architecture that supports organization growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Influence decision‑making across IT, product, and business leaders; articulate complex concepts in clear business terms.
- Maintain adherence to architecture standards, governance, and documentation.
- Successfully modernize applications, data, and infrastructure while balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term strategy.
- Grow and mentor the architecture team, manage consulting engagements, and control associated budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and continuously update the enterprise architecture blueprint and roadmap.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (cloud, AI, automation, DevSecOps, data platforms) and recommend modernization initiatives.
- Lead architecture governance, standards, and design reviews; ensure consistent documentation.
- Collaborate with solution architects on scalable, adaptable enterprise solutions.
- Mentor, hire, and develop architects across domains; manage team performance.
- Manage architecture budgeting, forecasting, and consulting resources.
- Stay current with industry trends and apply actionable insights to the architecture practice.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and design (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
- Proven experience architecting Salesforce, Oracle (CRM, ERP), and modern cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of application, data, security, integration patterns, and business process modeling.
- Advanced skills in software development, testing, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influence abilities across all organizational levels.
- Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams and driving large‑scale re‑engineering initiatives.
- Proficiency in project portfolio management, roadmap planning, and change management.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Preferred certifications: TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
