Job Title: System Administrator – SharePoint
Role Summary:
Responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting enterprise SharePoint environments, leading the transition from SharePoint On‑Premises to SharePoint Online. Manages associated business applications, ensures system reliability, security, and optimal performance, and provides technical support and user access management.
Expectations:
- Maintain active Secret security clearance.
- Operate within a hybrid schedule, with at least one onsite day per week.
- Deliver a 6‑month assignment with potential 12‑month extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SharePoint migration from On‑Premises to Online, including site, list, and permission configuration.
- Administer and troubleshoot SharePoint Online and On‑Premises, resolving OOTB and Nintex workflow issues.
- Monitor servers, apply Windows patch testing, validate upgrades, and manage third‑party tools (e.g., HarePoint).
- Administer Project Server, support Records Management, configure GRM, and perform content migrations using Connexions, Destination, InfoNet.
- Manage desktop, web, and cloud‑based applications; apply service packs, hot fixes, and updates.
- Handle support tickets, collaborate with business units, enroll new users, and manage access rights.
- Document maintenance processes, coordinate delivery of new application components, and recommend automation or efficiency improvements.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in SharePoint On‑Premises and SharePoint Online administration and migration.
- Proficiency with Project Server and workflow tools such as Nintex.
- Strong web administration and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work with high‑availability applications and perform system testing and validation.
- Knowledge of data management, security, disaster recovery, release management, version control, and patching.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, SharePoint Administrator).
