Job title: Senior Integration Specialist
Role Summary: Technical individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations across enterprise CRM, ERP, e‑commerce, and cloud data platforms using modern integration frameworks, APIs, and event‑driven architectures.
Expactations: Deliver robust, secure, and high‑performance data flows independently; translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions; maintain and evolve integration systems while ensuring compliance and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect end‑to‑end integration solutions for on‑premise and cloud environments, selecting optimal patterns (API‑led, event‑driven, ETL/ELT, RPA‑assisted).
- Build and deploy integrations on platforms such as Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, Informatica IICS, SnapLogic, webMethods, Kafka Connect, and related tools.
- Design, implement, and secure REST/SOAP APIs; manage API gateways (Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway).
- Develop event‑driven architectures using Kafka, EventBridge, SNS/SQS.
- Create and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and automate workflows across Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, Workday, and other SaaS applications.
- Write custom code in Python, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or Shell to extend integration capabilities.
- Implement observability, logging, error handling, retry logic, and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Apply security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSO, encryption) and ensure compliance with PII/PHI handling.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
Required Skills:
- 7–12 years of hands‑on experience designing enterprise integrations across CRM, ERP, and data systems.
- Deep proficiency with 2–3 integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, Informatica IICS, SnapLogic, webMethods).
- Advanced knowledge of integration patterns: orchestration, event‑driven design, microservices, message‑based workflows.
- Strong expertise in REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Webhooks, JSON, XML, XSLT.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, basic data modeling, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud integration services (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Data Factory).
- Proficient in debugging, problem‑solving, and independent end‑to‑end delivery.
- Excellent communication skills for translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Optional: B2B/EDI (X12, EDIFACT), Salesforce/SAP/NetSuite integration layers, Kafka/RabbitMQ, RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Professional certifications in integration platforms or cloud services (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer, Boomi Certified Specialist, Informatica IICS Certified Data Integration Specialist, AWS Certified Integration Pattern Designer) preferred.
