**Job Title**: Automation Intern **Role Summary**: Participate in robotics, automation, and control projects in a manufacturing environment. Focus on programming, system design, and optimization of automated production equipment. **Expectations**: Bachelor’s degree in automated production engineering or robotics engineering, with interest in software development for machines and automation. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and teamwork required. **Key Responsibilities**: - Assess customer processes and program equipment to meet specifications. - Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and scheduling. - Design safety systems, conduct risk assessments, and develop operating theories. - Program and configure PLCs (Allen Bradley, SIEMENS), HMIs/SCADA systems (Ignition, FactoryTalk View Studio), and robotic systems (Fanuc, Kuka). - Commission systems, write testing procedures, and supervise external partners on software projects. - Identify process improvements and propose optimization solutions. **Required Skills**: - PLC programming (Allen Bradley, SIEMENS). - HMI/SCADA programming (Ignition, FactoryTalk View Studio, Vijeo Designer). - Robotic system programming (Fanuc, Kuka). - Proficiency in SQL and Java. - Analytical problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in automated production engineering or robotics engineering (in progress or completed). - No certifications required.
